Katoomba District Little Athletics Centre was formed in 1973. The minutes of the inaugural meetings are attached.
The Club originally operated out of Clauvaux Oval in Katoomba opposite what was the Scenic Railway and Skyway in Katoomba, and which is now known as Scenic World.
In the 1980s, the Centre relocated to Pitt Park in Wentworth Falls, following a change in ownership of Clauvaux Oval, and has operated from this location ever since.
In 2021, the Club decided to expand its affiliation, and agreed to affiliate with both Little Athletics NSW and Athletics NSW. This change allowed the Club to be known as a “OneSport” Club which permitted it to offer athletics competition for all ages.
