Following the 2021 Annual General Meeting, we have changed our name to Katoomba District Athletics and are now affiliated with both Little Athletics NSW and Athletics NSW.
This means that from the beginning of the 2021 season in September, we will
- offer the full Little Athletics program that we have always offered for Tots through to under 17 athletes,
- allow our under 12 – 17 athletes to register and compete in Athletics NSW meets as representatives of Katoomba Club, and
- offer registration and competition for athletes aged 18 years onwards under Athletics NSW competition rules.
This is a big change for our Club and we’re looking forward to offering a large range of competition at one of the few athletics fields in NSW that can offer competition on a beautiful grass track at just under 1000m in altitude. Come along and run, jump and throw at 994m above sea level!
